The agreement between you and Keto Tracker LLC covering the Keto Tracker AI app and this website.
Keto Tracker AI is a trading name of Keto Tracker LLC. Effective 13 August 2026.
1. Accepting these terms
By installing or using Keto Tracker AI you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. If you are using it somewhere that requires you to be a certain age to accept an agreement, you confirm you are old enough. The app is not intended for anyone under 16.
2. What the app is, and what it is not
Keto Tracker AI is a tool for logging what you eat and what you weigh, and for spotting patterns between the two.
It is not medical advice, and it is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent anything. It cannot tell you whether a diet is appropriate for you. Talk to a qualified professional before making significant changes to how you eat, and especially if you are pregnant, managing a medical condition, or taking medication where diet matters — diabetes medication in particular.
Any observation the app makes connecting a change in your weight to something you ate is a hypothesis drawn from your own logs over a short window, not a finding. It is there to give you something specific to test. Treat it that way.
3. Accuracy
Nutrition figures in the app are estimates. Some come from a reference food table, some from a product database, some from an AI provider’s reading of a photo or a description — and portion sizes are estimated from everyday measures like a palm or a cup rather than weighed. The app tries to show you where a number came from and how confident it is, and lets you correct anything. You should assume every figure carries error and correct the ones that matter to you.
We do not warrant that any figure the app displays is accurate.
4. Your data and your responsibility for it
Your log is stored on your device, not on our servers — see Privacy. A consequence worth stating plainly: we hold no backup. If you lose your device, delete the app, or clear its data, the log is gone and we cannot recover it. Export anything you would be upset to lose.
5. AI features and your own provider key
The app’s AI features work by sending the relevant content — a meal photo, a description, a recipe question — to a third-party AI provider using an API key you supply. You are responsible for your own key, for keeping it secret, for the account behind it, and for any charges that account incurs. Your use of a provider is subject to that provider’s own terms.
AI output can be wrong, and confidently so. Everything in section 3 applies with particular force to it.
6. Subscriptions
Paid subscriptions are not currently offered. This section governs them if and when they become available, and is published in advance so the terms are in place beforehand.
- Subscriptions are billed through the App Store or Google Play, not by us directly. Payment is taken by the store on the account you used to purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by the store under its own policy. We cannot issue a refund for a purchase we did not process.
- Price and feature changes will be notified in advance and will not take effect in a period you have already paid for.
7. Licence
You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own use. You may not resell it, rent it, or redistribute it; you may not attempt to extract source code, keys or credentials from it, except to the extent that restriction is unenforceable where you live; and you may not use it to build a competing product.
The app, this website, and their content and branding remain ours. Your log, your photos and anything else you create with the app remain yours — we claim no rights over them, and we do not have copies of them.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use the app or this site to break the law, to interfere with their operation, or to access them in an automated way that places an unreasonable load on them. Where the app offers to submit something for us to feature publicly, only submit material that is yours and that you are content to have published.
9. Availability
The app is provided as it is. Features may change or be withdrawn. Third-party services the app depends on — AI providers, the food database, the app stores — may change, price differently, or stop, and that may affect what the app can do. Where a feature depends on one of our servers, we do not promise it will be reachable at any given moment; the app is built to continue working when it is not.
10. Disclaimers and limits
To the fullest extent the law allows, the app and this website are provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, or loss arising from decisions you made on the basis of a figure or suggestion the app produced. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. You may have consumer rights that these terms cannot override, and nothing here affects them.
11. Ending
You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may end this licence if you materially breach these terms. Sections 3, 4, 7, 10 and 12 survive.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, and its courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above and, where they affect a paid subscription, notified before they take effect.
