Can I move a purchase from iPhone to Android?
No. Purchases are held by the store you bought from, against the Apple ID or Google account you used — reinstalling on the same platform restores them, moving platforms does not. The reason is the same one that means we never ask you to sign up: there is no account of ours for a purchase to follow you on. That is a deliberate trade, and this is the half of it that costs you something.

Why is a macro figure wrong?
Numbers reach a meal by several routes, and they are not equally reliable:
- A reference food table — derived from USDA data. Reliable per 100g.
- A barcode lookup — the manufacturer’s own figures for that exact product. Usually the best available.
- An AI provider reading your photo or description. Useful, and sometimes confidently wrong.
The larger error is usually not the food, it is the portion. The app works in everyday measures — a palm, a thumb, a cup — and converts them to grams using per-food conventions that are themselves estimates. A steak that is really 1.4 palms logged as 1 palm is 40% out before anything else happens.
How do I correct a portion?
Every estimated meal opens as an editable list before it is saved — that is the design, not a fallback. Adjust the quantity on any item and the totals follow. Corrections you make are remembered and used to improve later estimates.
Why does it show fat and protein for some meals and not others?
Because it will not invent them. Where a meal’s items resolve to real table or product data, the app reports measured fat and protein. Where they do not, it says the figures are estimated rather than presenting a guess as a measurement.
Your data
What happens if I delete the app?
Everything goes — meals, weigh-ins, photos, settings. There is no backup, no account to restore from, and we cannot recover it, because we never had a copy. That is the direct trade for storing nothing about you. Export before you uninstall, and before you switch phones.
How do I export?
Settings has two options. CSV gives you every meal and weigh-in as spreadsheet rows, with separate columns for weigh-ins and a marker showing whether each meal’s macros were logged or estimated. PDF gives a formatted progress summary, which is the one to take to an appointment. Both leave via the normal share sheet, so they go wherever you send them.
Does my log go to a server?
No. There is no account and no sync. Individual meals are sent to an AI provider when you use the AI features, which is a different thing, and Privacy sets out exactly what goes where.
AI features
What does the app do without an AI key?
Most of it works and needs no key at all: barcode scanning, favourites, manual entry, the carb budget, weigh-ins, trends, photos, the fasting timer, water, and every export.
What a key does buy is reading. Without one, the app cannot interpret a meal photo or a written description. It will still open the editable item list with a starting set for you to correct, but that set is not derived from your photo — so on the no-key path, treat photo logging as a shortcut to the editor rather than as recognition.
How do I add my own key?
Settings → AI provider. Choose xAI or MiniMax, paste the key from your account with them, and use Test connection to confirm it works before relying on it. The key is stored in your device’s secure keychain and sent only to that provider.
What does it cost?
You pay the provider directly, per request, on your own account with them — we do not take a cut and we cannot see your usage. Photo requests cost more than text ones because images are billed by size. Rates change, so check the provider’s own pricing page rather than trusting a figure quoted here.
Can I remove a key?
Yes, from the same screen. The app returns to the no-key behaviour above and stops making AI requests entirely.
Availability
When is it out?
Not yet. It is coming to the App Store and Google Play — see Download. There is no waiting list, because there is no email capture anywhere on this site.
